THE EVENT
The Cyprus Sunshine Cup, established in 1997, is one of the oldest and most important Mountain Bike events in the world. The event is returning to the UCI Mountain Bike calendar in 2024 after four years. There is a new format with three Cross-Country races on February 21, 24, and 25. The event attracts some of the biggest names in Mountain Bike in the world.

After a three-year hiatus, Cyprus will offer the traditional opening race of the MTB season, although this time in a different format.
The action of the Cyprus Sunshine Cup 2024 will take place on three Cross-Country tracks. The event will be held from 21 - 25 February 2024.
After four years, one of the world's most significant Mountain Bike competitions returns to the calendar of the Union Cycliste Internationale (UCI).

The beautiful but brutal XCO course in Macheras Forest was a fitting setting to wrap up an Epic race. It was another day, another win for Specialized in the Elite Women’s race whilst a tight fight for the overall made for intriguing Men’s race.
